Post Graduate Education, MASTER DEGREES (MD)

The Master Degrees are the most qualified study paths for those graduates that need specific knowledge and competences to enter the complex productive world and start a career in the numerous fields of design. The Academy researches and supports a number of new professions, working together with the most important districts of design, and offers a flexible structure which aggregates the best available expertise in the university research, the demand for innovation coming from companies and professionals and a significant participation of the productive world to build an outstanding qualification to each student. Each attendant will have a coach who will help him/her acquire excellent competences and provide support to develop his/her talents. Completion of this programme requires one semester of study, plus a two months final project work or an internship programme supported by the Academy’s faculty and chosen among numerous design fields.

Executive Programmes, CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES (CP)

The Executive Programmes are studies for those who wish to acquire specific competences in a short but intensive period of time. An executive programme is a study path developed for individuals that need to upgrade their knowledge on the most recent researches and innovations in design and, at the same time, to participate in discussions and working groups with other colleagues to validate and improve their experiences, methodologies and visions on specific themes of the design. Each executive programme provides lectures by experts, discussion groups, workshops and technical visits. The full-time version is an intensive one month programme, while the part-time edition is delivered abroad in five modules of three days each. A fifteen day path is designed for professionals and executives that wish to acquire competences in their own city with a short investment of time.

Corporate Training, ON DEMAND PROGRAMMES

The Corporate Training Programmes are specialized sessions developed according to specific requirements of a corporate client. The concept of education is intrinsically connected to the company’s strategic intentions and assures, first and foremost, that the objectives which are initially agreed upon are achieved. During the entire process, the Academy’s consultants and the company’s key managers operate together in order to (a) capitalize on past experience , (b) design tailor-made projects, contents and deliveries, (c) monitor reached and un-reached objectives. The goals of the course are agreed upon in advance and developed in close collaboration with the client, following a methodology perfected by constant research, practical work in the field and study of learning processes and teaching methods.

Thematic Programmes, SHORT PROGRAMMES (SC)

Short course are intensive and specialized seminars built to provide a deep and specific knowledge on one single theme and to upgrade visions and knowledge of progresses acquired by recognized experts, researchers and companies working in that area. Participants will make the most of their investment of time by achieving great knowledge results. Short courses are also delivered at the same time as the most prestigious design events and fairs; such programmes provide special lectures and panel discussions by experts and consultants in the field, in order to develop a strategic learning path that will produce the best benefits from the visits.
